The NY Dynamo Organization
Misstion Statement
Providing a winning sports organization on and off the Ice, leading to team and personal athletic excellence.
Philosophy
The NY Dynamo Organization is dedicated to offering the right balance of competition and commitment for every player by providing superior and targeted training both on and off the ice. Our goal is support every player on their hockey journey by providing diverse opportunities for growth and success.
Program Description
NY Dynamo offers a long term development program to its players. We are committed to helping our players develop a strong foundation that will help them reach their full potential. We expect our players to be good teammates, have big goals, and carry themselves properly on and off the ice.
At the younger age groups, it is important that our players have fun while learning proper skating techniques, puck confidence, and what it means to compete. All teams participate in highly competitive leagues, including the THF, AHF, and AGHF. Playing in a league against strong opponents ensures players are being exposed to high level teams and enables our players to push their limit and speed up their development. Our younger teams have a “play to learn” mentality that transitions slowly towards a “play to win” mentality as the season progresses and as players move up in age. At the older age group, the expectations evolve, and we shift more importance to game outcomes, as winning is often the result of a good execution of a practice and game plan.
Regardless of the age group, players can expect high pace, well run practices. Teams play meaningful games and tournaments. NY Dynamo hires professional coaches, skill coaches, and position specific coaches to guide our players as they grow in our program. If you have any questions regarding the coaching mentality or development/skill program for a certain age group, feel free to reach out!

NY Dynamo Girls Program
We Do Girls Hockey Different
The girls program has been revamped with one goal in mind: to grow the girls’ game in Upstate New York.
We are dedicating more resources, coaches, and support than any girls hockey program has ever had in Upstate New York! With the addition of our NEW Girls Hockey Director, Jordan Juron, we are elevating girls hockey to a level previously only dreamed of in our area for our athletes!
We are proud to offer full time teams for girls hockey! We will also have the only Tier 1 Girls Team in Upstate NY at the 14U level.
What to Expect This Season
All of our NY Dynamo girls players will be in a fun environment that will be tailored to meet each player’s individual goals while fostering team success. Our younger teams will have a strong focus on developing skills and game sense, while expectations to win grow at the 14U level.
The NY Dynamo Organization will work alongside, support, instruct, and lead it’s coaches, volunteers, and players in its core vision, mission, and brand of creating the total athlete. We strive to build each player into the total athlete that is empowered to practice with purpose, compete in every situation, embody the true meaning of being a teammate, be prepared for any challenge, and become successful on and of the ice.
NY Dynamo will offer girls ages 9 to 16 years old an opportunity to elevate their game and develop both on and off the ice. In the 2025-26 season, we will began offering an Elite Level Girls Team that will play at the highest level of competition at the 14U level. This will be our flagship team, the goal for our most competitive and skilled girls in the program to strive to be a part of and an avenue through which we will attract top talent in the area. With this in mind, we will be moving to FULL SEASON girls teams to foster internal competition and player development in order to have a strong 14U Tier One Team.
We will be the area’s only full time dedicated girls program that offers on ice development with professional coaches, off ice training in our home rink’s gym with a strength and conditioning coach, dedicated power skating sessions, and access to a detailed and specific development path.
